The Palestinian artist, Muhammad Assaf, announced on his Twitter page the arrival of his first son and named him Rayan.

Assaf's tweet came a day after he offered his condolences to the Moroccan child Rayan and expressed his grief over his death.

Assaf said in his tweet, "Praise be to God, a great, good, and blessed thank you for what he has given us. He completed the birth of my wife in good health and peace. Several days ago, God blessed me with a baby I named (Ryan). I ask God to benefit us with him and make him among the righteous."
