A Jordanian prince gives birth to his seventh child..and this is his name

Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein, half-brother of Jordan's King Abdullah II, welcomed his new son with his wife Princess Basma Al-Atoum.

Prince Hamzah chose the name "Mohammed" for his iron son, according to the official statement issued by the Royal Hashemite Court a few minutes ago.

And the royal court said in a statement: "Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein and Princess Basma (yesterday) gave birth to a son (yesterday) on February 8, 2022 AD, and they named him Muhammad, God made him the apple of an eye for his parents."

With this news, Prince Hamzah has six children from his wife, Princess Basma, and they are:

Zain bint Hamza (2012)

Nour Bint Hamza (2014)

Badia Bint Hamza (2016)

Nafisa bint Hamza (2018)

Hussein bin Hamza (2019)

Prince Hamzah has a daughter from his first wife, Princess Nour bint Assem, Princess Haya bint Hamza (2007).

It is noteworthy that Prince Hamzah has been under house arrest and surveillance in Jordan for several months, after he was accused of leading a coup attempt against the king with the help of the former chief of the court, Basem Awadallah, who is currently serving a prison sentence.

Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein bin Talal bin Abdullah (born March 29, 1980 -) is the eldest son of King Hussein from his fourth wife, Queen Noor Al Hussein, and half-brother of King Abdullah II.

He assumed the mandate of the Crown Prince from February 7, 1999 to November 28, 2004.

Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein was a former officer in the Jordanian army.

Queen Noor mentioned in her biography that she and King Hussein named Hamza by this name after Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib.

On August 29, 2003, he married Princess Noor bint Asim bin Nayef bin Abdullah I, who became nicknamed after marriage Nour Hamza, and he had Princess Haya (born on April 18, 2007), but they separated in September of 2009.

On January 11, 2012, he announced his engagement to Captain Basma Mahmoud Al-Atoum, from the village of Kafr Khel in Jerash.

The marriage contract was held on January 12, after which she was nicknamed Princess Basma Hamza, and they had two sons, Zain, Nour, Badia, Nafisa and Hussein.
