She runs, she runs the rumour.

That of a possible alliance between Christiane Taubira and Yannick Jadot.

What is certain is that a discreet meeting was held this Sunday evening between the staffs of the two candidates, as reported by our colleagues from Le Monde.

“There was indeed a meeting on Sunday, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis), on the initiative of the mayor of Romainville François Dechy, but there were no negotiations on anything. Either,” explained Guillaume Lacroix, president of the Radical Left Party (PRG).

"We haven't negotiated anything, and there is no date to see each other again," continued Lacroix, who recalls that the teams had not spoken to each other since the Popular Primary, which gave Christiane a large victory. Taubira.

Christiane Taubira at an impasse

But the latter has not taken off since in the polls, which give it around 5% of voting intentions, like the four other left-wing candidates, none of whom almost ever exceed the 10% mark.

What matters is you.

"There were no concrete proposals for rallying", insists Lacroix, while Le Monde evokes discussions around the possibility of a withdrawal of Taubira behind Jadot who, in the event of victory, would entrust him with the presidency of a constituent assembly.
