The President decided to establish such a center on the basis of the Federal Research Center "All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N. I. Vavilov."
It is noted that this was done in order to ensure the scientific and technological development of Russia and a comprehensive solution to the problems of accelerated development of genetic technologies.
