The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, gave a speech in which he addressed the Houthi group's bombing of the Emirates, Kuwait's efforts for reconciliation between Lebanon and the Gulf states, and the prospect of war between the party and Israel.

Hassan Nasrallah said on Tuesday evening that the countries printing with the enemy entity "provide the Israeli enemy's interest in the media, economically and otherwise, but militarily they cannot benefit it in anything."

The Hezbollah leader mocked the military capabilities of the United Arab Emirates, saying, "Since its establishment, the UAE has purchased tens of billions of weapons and military technology, and in the first direct confrontation, it sought help from others."

Today, he said, the Emiratis are asking for the American, French, and British presence and Israeli assistance in a first confrontation with the Yemeni Houthi group.

On January 17, the Houthi group launched an attack on Abu Dhabi airport, which brought to mind previous attacks launched by the group on the UAE during the past few years.

During 2017 and 2018, leaders of the Ansar Allah group "Al-Houthi" threatened to strike vital and investment facilities in the UAE and warned investors.

The Hezbollah leader said that "printers in the Gulf build hopes out of sand and, at best, glass."

On the confrontation between Hezbollah and Israel, Nasrallah said that "the Israeli enemy needs to go to war in order to stop Hezbollah's missile force."

He asked: Is he ready to go to war?

He stressed that the human and material capacity of the resistance in Lebanon "prevents the enemy from considering the option of war."

Regarding Kuwait's efforts to achieve reconciliation between the Gulf states and Lebanon, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah said, "Lebanon is a sovereign country, and no one should come and dictate dictates to it."
