- Sweden's high school students have paid a high price.

At the same time as they sat at home and had to study at a distance, there were many who did not follow the restrictions and were out and crowded in shops.

It was not fair, she says.

- My grades have been affected in a negative direction, says Isabella Nordén who is in year three at ProCivitas in Lund.

Even though she and her classmates agree that the teachers and the school did the best they could under the conditions, they feel that their high school years, knowledge acquisition and mood were negatively affected by the distance learning.

May have long-term consequences

They are all happy that the distance education has now been abolished, but Camilla Bosson is worried about the effect it can have on the students that they have completed almost half of their high school education in front of a computer screen.

- We do not yet know what consequences this has in the long term, she says.
