It was on September 15 last year that a 20-year-old man was shot in the face in Ryd.

Three men are charged with involvement in the incident.

In previous interrogations, the man did not say who fired, only gave certain signals.

But during the plaintiff's interrogation on Tuesday in room three in Linköping District Court, the shot man left more detailed details.

It was previously described how a man got on a bicycle and shot.

But the plaintiff now says that the shooter attended their meeting in a courtyard in Ryd and that he greeted the man who then shot.

As the gang began to leave the scene, the plaintiff turned around and saw one of the men point a gun at his face and fire.

Wanted revenge myself

As an explanation for why he did not directly tell who shot, the plaintiff explained with the culture of silence that prevails and that he himself wanted revenge.

But the man now says he has come up with other ideas.

- In the beginning, I feel a worry and fear to tell it.

I come from an area where you do not tell the police what is happening.

I wanted revenge too.

I wanted to take it into my own hands, says the man in the district court.

Several were rejected from the hall

There were a lot of people in place when the hearing started on Tuesday.

Several of them are probably connected to the conflict and the district court decided that only a party to the case, the police and the media were allowed to participate in the courtroom.

The others were referred to a auditorium.

After the appointment, the plaintiff believes that he can never return to Linköping.

- I can not return to Linköping.

I'm worried that something might happen.

You not only tell the truth, that's it.

It is a code of honor and it also applies to my friends, says the shot 20-year-old.
