"There will undoubtedly be a new European practice this week so that vaccinated people who come from outside the European Union to the European Union will have lightened measures," added Clément Beaune.

The Twenty-Seven already agreed on January 25 to better coordinate the rules applicable to travel within the EU and to avoid imposing restrictions on holders of a European health certificate.

Several countries, including Italy or Denmark require travelers, even vaccinated against Covid-19, to present negative tests to enter their territory.
