According to Interfax-Ukraine, the Estonian-made Role 2 mobile field hospital is designed for accelerated deployment and use in the field.

“We hope that together with this assistance, the purchase of weapons for Ukraine from ... NATO will be unlocked,” said Anna Malyar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

Earlier, the German authorities allocated €5.3 million for the construction of a mobile field hospital for Ukraine.

Prior to this, the defense ministers of the Baltic countries declared their readiness to provide Ukraine with military and non-military assistance.

Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas said that Lithuania is ready to support Ukraine by all means, including the transfer of lethal weapons.
