Investigation The first analysis of the autopsy of Esther López appreciates signs of internal violence
Finding A man finds the body of Esther López in an account next to the road
The first autopsy report on
Esther López
confirms the cause of her death, but still does not shed light on how it occurred and whether it was homicidal in nature or, on the contrary, accidental.
The 35-year-old woman suffered a hypovolemic shock for which she died the same morning that she disappeared, the forensic experts believe after a first examination.
Esther had an internal hemorrhage and the four doctors who have performed the autopsy have found trauma to the abdomen, chest and head, as sources close to the investigation have specified.
What remains to be seen is whether these internal injuries were caused or were caused, for example, by an accidental fall.
The autopsy also tries to determine if the woman's body, which appeared in a ditch next to the entrance road to
Traspinedo (Valladolid)
, was there since the day of her disappearance or was recently transferred.
The first results of the forensic analysis of the woman's body that emerged yesterday spoke of internal signs of violence, understanding "violence" as any death that is not natural.
Today, the study is more exhaustive and already establishes the cause of death.
Now, the Civil Guard investigators are focused on reconstructing Esther's last hours to try to determine what happened on the morning of January 13 and the degree of involvement, if any, of the people the agents are investigating.
The first of them is
Ramón C.
, alias
El Manitas
, the only one accused by the judge and with a police record for, among other things, drug trafficking.
Esther's phone signal was lost near her house.
The agents searched her chalet and car and found nothing against her.
The judge released him on charges.
The investigation has also focused on Esther's friends -
El Carolo
and
Óscar
- the last two people she was with.
The latter has changed the version of him up to three times.
