And the Egyptian website, Sada Al-Balad, quoted the Egyptian legal advisor, Mahmoud Alwani, as explaining the reasons for carrying out the death sentence on the accused at dawn.

He added: "The Code of Criminal Procedure was amended in 1942 and stipulates the execution of the death penalty at dawn on the day that is determined by the Public Prosecutor, which comes as a surprise to the accused, as the accused does not know when the death sentence will be carried out before that."

He was executed after performing the Fajr prayer

He stressed that “one of the reasons is also that the human body is in the stage of calm and stillness and in its psychological states, specifically after performing the dawn prayer if the religion is Muslim, in addition to avoiding the riots of prisoners because of the execution of one of them because they were asleep at that time, and this timing gives the opportunity Sufficient to complete all official papers and procedures related to death and burial.

Crimes punishable by death
