The gendarmes are not used to receiving gifts, especially when they operate checks on the road.

And yet, this is what happened to two soldiers positioned on the RN12, in Garlan (Finistère), reports Ouest-France on Monday.

A motorist who was going to the recycling center stopped on his way back to offer them… pastries.

This unusual scene took place on February 2.

The man who had bought two eclairs at the café for the gendarmes reportedly said that he was very happy with the work done by the police and that he wanted to thank them.

The gendarmes very “affected”

The Finistère gendarmerie shared the anecdote on its Facebook page.

Many Internet users reacted to the publication of the military.

The latter said they were very “touched” by this initiative.

"A big thank you to this beautiful person who gives meaning to our action", they conclude on the social network.
