Placed under an electronic bracelet since his release last October, the thirties had just bought a car when he was arrested.

He denies driving the car

Originally from Oloron, he would have driven in the wrong direction in a roundabout and failed to overthrow pedestrians, before abandoning his vehicle.

He was driving without a driver's license and drunk.

Summoned to the Pau court, the man assured that he was not behind the wheel and that he was a mysterious "friend".

He will be tried on February 24 and has been placed in pre-trial detention pending.
