After that, the US State Department condemned the decision of the Russian authorities to close the office of the German TV channel Deutsche Welle in Moscow.
At the same time, the US State Department did not react to the ban on broadcasting RT DE in Germany.
The Russian Embassy in Washington called the statement by US State Department spokesman Ned Price on the closure of the Deutsche Welle office in Moscow an example of a policy of double standards.
