Russian Ambassador to the United States Antonov spoke about the US reaction to the rapprochement between Russia and China

According to Antonov, there are fears in the United States regarding the rapprochement between Russia and China, especially after the last meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He said that there was a "negative surge" in the American media after the talks between the leaders of the two states.

“There are clear fears of a further rapprochement between Russia and China,” Antonov said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping in Beijing was warm, constructive and allied.

During the summit of the leaders of Russia and China, 16 documents were signed.
