The decision was published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions of Ukraine, TASS reports.

During the trial, the man fully admitted his guilt.

According to him, during 2018-2020, he distributed the symbols of the USSR and images of the leaders of the Communist Party using his phone.

The person involved stated that he “thought it was quite legal.”

The mitigating circumstance was that he repented of his act.

The court sentenced him to five years in prison with a two-year probationary period.

In October 2019, in Krivoy Rog, a court found a resident of Ukraine guilty and sentenced him to a one-year probationary period for wearing a T-shirt with the coat of arms of the USSR.
