“In the Trans-Baikal Territory, a high alert regime began to operate in connection with the threat of attacks by stray animals on people in the territories of settlements,” the government said in a statement.

It is noted that this regime will exclude the stay of stray animals in the territory of settlements.

The regime will control the ban on feeding animals without owners, walking dogs without owners, and preventing the capture of neglected animals.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office organized a check after reports of an invasion of stray dogs on the streets of Veliky Novgorod.
