“The day before yesterday, Russian-American consultations on irritants were held in Vienna,” Antonov said.
According to him, Russian representatives came to Vienna with a positive program.
Antonov specified that the program is aimed at normalizing the activities of diplomats in the United States and in Russia and at ending the "visa war".
“Unfortunately, at these consultations, we received a negative response,” he said.
Antonov also said that the staff of the diplomatic mission will work in the United States "until the last diplomat".
According to him, diplomats will do everything to defend national interests, but at the same time try to normalize relations between Moscow and Washington.
