The winter holidays start this Friday evening for zone B (Strasbourg, Lille, Nantes, Orléans, Reims, Nancy, Metz, Amiens, Rouen, Rennes, etc.).

For many travelers, this is the time to clear their minds, rest and forget about the Covid for a bit.

REPORTING

The holidays start this Friday February 4 in zone B (Strasbourg, Lille, Nantes, Orléans, Reims, Nancy, Metz, Amiens, Rouen, Rennes, etc.) until February 21.

At Strasbourg station, the platforms are starting to fill up.

For many travellers, these holidays were eagerly awaited, in particular to forget all the worries still and always linked to the Covid.

In France or abroad, a well-deserved vacation

At Strasbourg station, most holidaymakers head for Lyon, Paris, or the South of France.

Seven-year-old Josephine and her little brother are going to spend a week with their grandparents in Châlons sur Saône.

"I'm happy to be on vacation with Papou and Grandma!"

exclaims the little girl.

For his parents, Jérôme and Marion, who will therefore find themselves alone for a few days, it is also a bit of a vacation: "The suspense lasted until the end", sighs this mother.

"We chained the periods of isolation linked to the Covid, but it's good now! We're happy that the children can leave. Next week, it's restaurant!", She rejoices.

Enjoy 100%

A few meters further on, Christian and his family are very busy and for good reason: for them, Strasbourg station is just one stage on a long journey.

"We first go to Frankfurt where we will take a plane to go to Norway, to Oslo, and tomorrow we take a plane to go to the Far North, beyond the polar circle" explains the father of the family.

"Each time, it's the Covid test, the vaccination pass, etc. etc. Normally, you should be fine!"

he hopes.

“We are very happy to be able to go to an isolated place and I think that the virus will not survive at this temperature”, he concludes with a burst of laughter.

School will resume on February 21 in Strasbourg and throughout zone B. But no way to think about it now!

The only concern of travelers is to enjoy 100% of their vacation.
