The first resignation is the one that surprised the most.

Mundira Mirza had advised Boris Johnson for 14 years, the Prime Minister had cited her in his top 5 "inspiring women" alongside activist Malala Yusafzai among others, and was considered one of the strongest supporters of "BoJo ".

In her resignation letter made public, the former political director explains her disagreement with the "

slander

" uttered by the Prime Minister, in his strategy to divert attention from the Sue Gray report.

"

It was incorrect, unfair and partisan and despite my urgings, you did not apologize

."

Some were involved in the parties

Within five hours, the chief of staff, the director of communications and the general secretary of Downing Street also announce their departure.

Two of them were involved in the parties organized in 2020 during the confinements.

In the process, the pro-Johnsons of the Conservative Party invited the deputies to recall on social networks that these departures, at least the last three, were part of the Prime Minister's strategy.

Earlier this week, just after the publication of the Downing Street holiday report, Boris Johnson had promised a reorganization within the residence, but it was not expected so quickly.
