“The very fact of the meeting is a very positive event for both Russia and China.

I am convinced that all agreements are aimed at improving relations between Russia and China in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

This alliance between Russia and China helps to reduce the tension in the world due to the actions of the United States and NATO countries.

I hope that such meetings will influence the NATO countries and the United States in terms of achieving normal relations with Russia,” Tsekov explained.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping in Beijing was warm, constructive and allied.

Peskov added that the negotiations were substantive, the parties focused on issues of bilateral relations and trade and economic cooperation.

Also, Russia and China, in a joint statement, called on the United States to abandon plans to deploy intermediate and shorter-range missiles in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.
