According to the senator, the militarization of Ukraine and Kiev's open unwillingness to implement the Minsk agreements against the backdrop of NATO's active approach to the Russian borders "cause justified concern not only for Russia." 

“Obviously, Ukraine, as a supplier of conflicts (both internal and external), to NATO will become even more toxic for both Russia and European security.

And this is already clearly understood in Europe,” said Kovitidi.

She also added that the United States began to treat the Ukrainian situation with concern.

In particular, the parliamentarian noted that congressmen from the Democratic Party have already criticized the American administration for plans to deploy troops in Eastern Europe.

Earlier, Zakharova said that the Ukrainian authorities intend to show that they "put an end to" the implementation of the Minsk agreements. 

On February 1, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, in an interview with the Associated Press, stated that it was impossible for Kiev to comply with the Minsk agreements, as this would lead to the "destruction of the country."
