Saudi channel: Expulsion and “final exit visa” for an Arab employee who offended the Kingdom

The Saudi newspaper, “Sabq,” reported, quoting a source, that the Saudi sports network “SSC” had terminated its contract with one of its employees of Lebanese nationality, after “abuses issued by this person against the country” were circulated.


The source of the "SSC" satellite channels revealed to "Previously" that the contract with one of the workers of the Lebanese nationality, who does not work directly with the channel, but with one of the companies contracting with the channel and on a temporary basis, has been terminated, after what was circulated on social media sites from Abuses issued by this person against the homeland, through his personal accounts.

The same source confirmed that “the contracting company immediately issued a decision to terminate his services,” stressing at the same time that “the channel’s management is very keen on the nation’s reputation and that it will not accept the presence of anyone working with the channel directly or with one of the companies contracting with the channel, Such abuse has never come from him.”

According to "Russia Today", Abdullah Al-Barqawi, deputy editor-in-chief of "Sabq" newspaper, said that "the Lebanese resident who insulted the Kingdom in his tweets was expelled from the company contracting with SSC channels."

He added, "The action was quick, and the employee with the offensive tweets to the Kingdom was excluded from work and expelled (from Saudi Arabia) with a final exit visa."

Sabq newspaper did not provide further details about the incident, nor did it mention the name of the expelled person.
