In cooperation with Google, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung is still looking for an interested young data journalist who would like to work with our editors on the implementation of storytelling formats and data visualizations until March 15th.

As part of the "Google News Initiative Fellowship", scholarship holders will have the opportunity for eight weeks between June and September 2022 to expand their existing knowledge with new technologies and journalistic forms of presentation.

What the FAZ offers

The FAZ provides thoroughly researched facts, precise analyses, discourseable positions and clever comments.

What is in the FAZ often initiates social debates or has an opinion-forming effect on them.

We are curious about surprising, original and clever projects and narrative forms.

What we expect from our scholarship holder

Our fellow should be able to research, analyze and visualize data sets (programming knowledge is very welcome) and be able to go as far as possible from the initial question to the finished story with database-supported attractive data visualizations.

We, the editorial staff of the Frankfurter Allgemeine and the Multimedia department, want to help and advise you.
