A 61-year-old man from Mée-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne) is accused of forcing his pregnant 38-year-old partner into prostitution.

To convince her, he would have threatened not to recognize their child, reveals

Le Parisien.

The victim of Cameroonian origin, who arrived in France at the beginning of 2021, crossed paths with this man, from the same country.

The sexagenarian then agreed to host the thirty-year-old, who is in a very precarious situation.

The suspect soon to be tried

After having a relationship with the suspect, the victim became pregnant.

Since this news, the man would have taken the opportunity to prostitute her.

She said she gave in to her companion's demands for a few months before managing to leave the marital home and file a complaint.

For his part, the sexagenarian only admitted having made his apartment available to the thirty-year-old for her to prostitute herself but would not have derived any benefit from it.

He was placed under judicial supervision pending trial.
