2009 Miss USA runner-up Carrie Freezin Bowler is making headlines for her campaign to encourage a 'no-mask' in California, where it is mandatory to wear a mask indoors.

On the 2nd local time, foreign media such as the New York Post reported that Bowler recently shared a video of handing out cash to people who are not wearing masks through his social media.

According to a video released by Bowler, on the 20th of last month, he approached two elderly women who did not wear masks at a shopping mall and said, "We have the freedom to breathe fresh air. You who reject the government's quarantine guidelines are courageous." I was handed one 5 dollar bill (about 6,000 won).

In another video, Bowler praises a boy who walks around an electronics store without a mask, then hands him a dollar bill.

Giving money to a girl who goes grocery shopping without a mask with her mother, she said, "You are a true leader and the next Martin Luther King. Going to school tomorrow with your mask off will make your heart pound and anxious, but don't forget that you are doing the right thing. "He also said.

On the 2nd, after posting a video on social media in which citizens who did not wear masks interviewed citizens who were not wearing masks, saying, "I can't breathe when I wear a mask," and "I'm so frustrated, I'm angry." "Courage is contagious, so we must spread it. Let's regain the freedom of the people."

Bowler is known as a supporter of former President Donald Trump, who opposes mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and mask wearing.

In 2009, she competed in the Miss USA pageant as a representative of the state of California and took second place, but was disqualified from Miss USA due to controversy surrounding same-sex marriage and leaking nude photos.

She disappeared from the news after marrying NFL player Kyle Bowler in 2010, but reappeared in the media in August of last year when it became known that she used abusive language at her children's school board promoting mandatory wearing of masks.

This is a 'news pick'.
