“As part of our ongoing humanitarian assistance, India has delivered the fourth batch of medical assistance to Afghanistan, consisting of 3 tons of life-saving medicines,” the statement said.

It is noted that India has already delivered three shipments of medical aid to Afghanistan, consisting of 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and essential life-saving medicines.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan sent 155 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
