“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Krasnodar has scheduled an internal check on the fact of the escape of the detainee from the police department,” TASS reports.
As specified, on January 29, while escorting detainees from a special detention room to the toilet, a 46-year-old man who had previously been convicted and was on the federal wanted list, arbitrarily left the premises of the police department.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that at present "all personnel" are focused on catching the escapee.
On December 24, two prisoners escaped from the colony-settlement in Volgograd.
Later, in the Rostov region, the prisoners were detained.
