Deprived of a concert due to the health crisis, Andy Thorn has found a new audience.

This American musician from the group Leftover Salmon now plays regularly for a… fox.

While playing the banjo on his terrace in Boulder Heights, Colorado, he was surprised to see the wild animal approach and stay in front of him, as if captivated by its melodies.

His wife managed to immortalize one of these unexpected moments and the couple posted the video on Instagram in October 2021. Since then, this beautiful story has been going viral and Andy Thorn has even been invited to

The Kelly Clarkson Show

, on NBC.

"He was interested in it, that's for sure"

“During the outbreak, we realized he was walking around our yard almost every day.

At one point, I was playing the banjo on the terrace, and he took an interest in it, for sure.

And little by little, we realized that he liked this music, or at least that he was curious to know it, “said Andy Thorn.

The banjo player explains that he tried to coax other wild animals with his banjo, turkeys or even deer.

But none of them seemed interested in his art like the fox.

While waiting to be able to resume his tour, the American indicated that his new fan had even inspired him to write an album.
