The environmentalist candidate for the April presidential election unveiled the main lines of his program this Saturday, January 29.

He did so in Lyon, a city now run by a Europe Ecology-The Greens (EELV) mayor.

A one and a half hour meeting, during which Yannick Jadot wanted to demonstrate the credibility and seriousness of his project.

This is Yannick Jadot's obsession: French ecologists are no longer there to testify, but to govern.

The candidate begins by defending the green mayors already in power, as here in the capital of Gaul, and who are often the object of attacks.

For Yannick Jadot, the incompetent, the dogmatists are not the ecologists, but those who have been in power for years, right and left combined, because they do nothing for the environment.

In front of 700 people, the candidate of Europe ecology-The Greens therefore declines some of the 120 measures of his program focused on the defense of the climate in particular and social justice.

Jumble: the ban on the sale of thermal cars in 2030, the shutdown of ten nuclear reactors, the climate wealth tax, the 10 billion euros per year for thermal renovation.

Yannick Jadot attacks the rich, lobbies and multinationals.

He wants to raise the minimum wage to 1,500 euros net and reduce working hours.

At the exit, the candidate is satisfied with his third meeting, more comfortable in the exercise.

And despite the stagnant polls, he insists that he is gaining momentum, counting on his program to place ecology at the heart of the electoral campaign.

We must now mobilize, convince, share our project.

Bring together progressives, humanists and all French people behind the urgent need for climate and social justice.

With one goal: to turn hope into victory!
