Prime Minister Kim made this statement through SNS today (28th) and said, "This is a harsh word to disparage the efforts of the people, quarantine authorities, and medical staff who have been struggling with Corona 19 for over two years."
Prime Minister Kim explained, "It is not that we have given up on the K-Quarantine, but the tactics have been reorganized so that we can respond to an enemy called Omicron, which lives like a living creature.
Regarding the spread of Omicron, he said, "The people were able to make a soft landing by slowing down the spread of the fierce Omicron because the people actively participated in vaccination, wore masks, and thoroughly followed basic quarantine rules."
"Policy criticism and advice will be welcomed, of course, but please do not shake the quarantine and break the public's trust with provocative language that promotes distrust and anxiety," Kim said.
