According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency on January 28, the North Korean Academy of National Defense Science conducted a long-range cruise missile system test and a surface-to-surface tactical missile power test on January 25 and 27, respectively.
According to the report, in the test launch on January 25, the two long-range cruise missiles flew for a total of 9,137 seconds along the flight path set in the East Sea of North Korea, and hit targets 1,800 kilometers away with precision.
In the ground-to-surface tactical missile test conducted on January 27, the two tactical missiles hit the target precisely, and the test confirmed that the explosive power of the conventional warhead met the design requirements.
According to the report, the results of the successful test launch of the missile have been reported to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and have been highly praised.
