At the same time, Nilov noted that control measures should be provided in case such a criminal escapes.

“Responsibility alone is not enough, the situation may change, the pedophile may be released because of an escape ... You never know what can happen, and he will be released.

Control measures must be taken, such as a non-removable bracelet and medical measures,” the parliamentarian said. 

Earlier, the President of Russia signed a law on life imprisonment for previously convicted pedophiles for violent acts against minors.
