Court in Ukraine arrests National Guardsman who shot colleagues in Dnipro until March 27

“Apply a preventive measure in the form of detention until March 27, 2022 to the suspected Ryabchuk Artemy with placement in a state institution for serving sentences No. 4 (in Dnipro),” the message says.

On the night of January 27, at the Southern Machine-Building Plant in the Dnieper, a soldier of the National Guard shot a guard from a machine gun, killing five people, five more were injured.

Among the dead is a civilian, a woman born in 1986.

After the incident, a case of negligence was initiated against the leadership of the National Guard and a criminal case was initiated into the shooting.

Artemy Ryabchuk, suspected of shooting colleagues at the Yuzhmash enterprise in Dnipro, pleaded guilty during the trial.
