The clashes resulted in the death of two Tajik citizens and a total of at least 21 wounded on both sides.

  On the 28th, the Kyrgyz National Security Council announced that the two countries had reached a complete ceasefire agreement.

  On the other hand, the Tajikistan National Security Council said in a statement: "At present, the situation on the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is stable," adding that a joint committee of relevant agencies on both sides is analyzing the reasons for the border conflict, among other things.

  In addition, the two sides agreed to withdraw troops, coordinate border patrols, and ensure smooth traffic on a strategic road between the two countries.

  Tajikistan said two people were killed and 10 injured in the clashes.

The wounded included six soldiers and four civilians.

Separately, Kyrgyzstan's health ministry said at least 11 citizens were injured and were receiving treatment.
