Haverikommissionen kommer att göra en statusrapport om utredningen vid en presskonferens som börjar klockan 16.00 på torsdagen. Utredarna kommer bland annat att ge en preliminär redovisning av händelseförloppet och berätta om det material som samlats in.

Haverikommissionen har varit på plats i Örebro och intervjuat vittnen och personal på Örebro flygplats. Flygplanet har också genomgått en teknisk undersökning.

It was on July 8 last year that nine people died when a small aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff at Örebro Airport.

Eight parachutists from Örebro parachute club and a pilot from another club were on the plane when the accident occurred.

Two ongoing investigations

The Accident Investigation Board will not determine any cause for the accident now.

The results of the entire investigation will be presented in a final report, which will probably be presented no later than July, one year after the accident.

There is also an ongoing police investigation with the heading inducing danger to another and causing another's death.

After the press conference, the prosecutor will review the Accident Investigation Board's material and then make a decision to either continue the preliminary investigation, or close it down.

Enligt Elisabeth Anestad som är polisområdeschef i Örebro län finns ingen brottsmisstänkt i ärendet.
