“On January 27, at 03:40, a tragedy occurred on the territory of the Yuzhmash Southern Machine-Building Plant.

A serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine, conscript Ryabchuk Artemy Yuryevich, born in 2001, while issuing weapons for unknown reasons, fired shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle at the guard of the NSU servicemen, after which he disappeared with weapons, ”the ministry said in a statement.

During the provision of medical assistance, “a serviceman from NSU, who also received gunshot wounds, died,” they added.

“The motives for the committed crime are still unknown,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
