- No2crimes is an organization that exists to combat crime, gang crime, drugs and exclusion in society, says Fatima Sigurd, chief operating officer of No2Crimes in Vetlanda.

She is the one who about two months ago started the investment in Vetlanda.

The work has not really started yet, even though many interested people have already been involved.

Then the intention is to train mentors and sponsors, both young and adults, who can help to reduce exclusion and bullying, among other things.

- We will teach conflict management and how to meet young people on the slide and how to talk to them without cues, says Fatima Sigurd.

Young leaders

According to the organization's concept "young leaders", students in primary school are trained to become sponsors for their younger schoolmates.

In upper secondary school, the young people are supposed to receive mentors from associations or the business community.

- It is not just about counteracting crime but also about meeting people who can lead them into work and into society.

Everyone must take their responsibility, not just the public sector such as schools, social services and the police, says Fatima Sigurd.
