It is noted that the value recorded in December is 4% more than in the previous month.

As stated in the bureau, among other regions with the highest average car loan check are the Moscow Region (1.55 million rubles), St. Petersburg (1.47 million rubles), Krasnodar Territory (1.39 million rubles), as well as the Leningrad Region ( 1.34 million rubles).

It is also reported that, compared to the same period last year, the most significant growth in this indicator in December 2021 was shown by the Kemerovo Region (+44.3%), the Udmurt Republic (+38.6%), and the Saratov Region (+38.2% ), Volgograd (+37.7%) and Omsk (+34.9%) regions.

According to NBKI Marketing Director Alexei Volkov, in 2021, the demand for car loans was at a fairly high level.

“At the same time, in the second half of the year, there was a slight decrease in the issuance of car loans, while an increase in the average check for car loans.

This was due to the continuing shortage of new cars, the end of the state program of preferential car loans in the first half of the year, as well as the increasingly conservative lending policy of banks,” the expert explained.

The specialist added that at the same time, for the segment of car loans (for the purchase of both new and used cars), a personal credit rating plays an increasingly important role, the level of which directly affects the decision to issue a car loan and its conditions.

Earlier, the NBKI spoke about the highest value of the average consumer loan in 2021.
