More than 20 ships of the Black Sea Fleet went to the Black Sea as part of large-scale exercises of the Navy

“Ships, combat boats and Black Sea Fleet support vessels as part of ship groups left the bases of Sevastopol and Novorossiysk, after which they moved to the designated areas,” the department added.

It is noted that frigates, patrol ships, small missile ships and missile boats, landing ships, small anti-submarine ships, as well as minesweepers are involved in the exercises.

On January 26, a detachment of warships from the Northern Fleet entered the Barents Sea as part of an exercise with the Arctic Expeditionary Group.
