“For 2 weeks, the number of sick children has increased 14 times (from 2 thousand per week to 28), and hospitalizations - 10 times (their number is now 120 children per day),” the report says.
It is noted that about half of the children hospitalized with COVID-19 are transfers from other hospitals where they underwent planned treatment.
In Moscow, a decision was made to close planned hospitalization in children's hospitals for 3 weeks with a number of exceptions.
Emergency medical care will be provided in full, without exception, to all children.
