接续奋斗 矢志强军(总书记和我握过手)
——回访空军空降兵某旅政治教导员余海龙
青年一代是党和军队的未来和希望，革命事业靠你们接续奋斗，优良传统靠你们继承发扬。军队政治工作要大家一起来做，基层做好工作是重要环节。要带头学传统、爱传统、讲传统，带动部队官兵传承好红色基因、保持老红军本色。

在空军空降兵某旅营门前，“黄继光生前所在部队”9个大字格外醒目。见到记者，该旅政治教导员余海龙讲起了那顿难忘的“红军饭”。
“2014年10月31日，习主席同11位部队基层干部和英模代表共进午餐，我有幸参加。习主席说，你们训练辛苦了，来，给你夹点菜。说完，习主席给我夹了一筷子芥菜。”回想起那天午餐，余海龙的心情久久难以平静，“这种幸福感，不仅属于我、属于空降兵官兵，更属于全军将士！”
“统帅和士兵心连着心，习主席对基层看得特别重、牵挂特别深”
2014年10月，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平来到福建省上杭县古田镇，出席全军政治工作会议。
“作为基层干部代表参加全军政治工作会议，我感到了强烈的使命感、责任感。10月31日临近中午时，工作人员告诉我，中午首长想和我们几名来自基层的干部吃个工作餐，边吃边聊。没想到，中午能和习主席吃‘红军饭’，我还坐在习主席左手边。”余海龙说。
午餐时间到了，习主席走进餐厅，同11位部队基层干部和英模代表围坐在一起，红米饭，南瓜汤，大家津津有味吃起了“红军饭”。
“刚开始，我还有些紧张，习主席和我亲切握手并交流，我放松了许多。”余海龙回忆，“习主席问我，‘你们单位有哪些特点？’我回答，‘我们是黄继光生前所在部队，现在是空降兵部队’。”
习主席同大家边吃边谈，回顾老红军艰苦卓绝的战斗岁月。习主席语重心长叮嘱大家，青年一代是党和军队的未来和希望，革命事业靠你们接续奋斗，优良传统靠你们继承发扬。军队政治工作要大家一起来做，基层做好工作是重要环节。要带头学传统、爱传统、讲传统，带动部队官兵传承好红色基因、保持老红军本色。
统帅心系百万兵，一枝一叶总关情。“我感受到统帅和士兵心连着心，习主席对基层看得特别重、牵挂特别深！”余海龙说，“习主席和大家同吃‘红军饭’，并叮嘱要继承发扬优良传统，体现了统帅对确保革命传统和优良作风薪火相传的期望。”
7年多过去了，当年和习主席握手、交流、共进午餐的场景仍经常萦绕在余海龙心间，也让他一直思考，如何才能传承好红色基因，不辜负习主席的殷切期望。
从古田再出发，余海龙和战友们牢记习主席嘱托，传承红色基因、担当强军重任，出色地完成了每一次重要任务，在强军征程上迈出坚定步伐。
“再危险再辛苦，我们也不怕，我们也要去做，因为我们是习主席的好战士，是黄继光精神的传人”
参加全军政治工作会议后回到连队，余海龙和官兵们一起召开了恳谈会。大家结合全军政治工作会议精神，以及2013年中央军委授予该连“模范空降兵连”的荣誉称号畅谈感想。
“习主席叮嘱我们‘要带头学传统、爱传统、讲传统’，对于黄继光生前所在部队来说，最重要的就是把黄继光的精神传承好、发扬好。”余海龙说。
在荣誉室，余海龙向记者详细介绍了该旅的光辉历史、光荣传统。“我们先后承担了1998年抗洪保卫荆江大堤、2008年汶川地震后空降震中救援救灾、2020年抽组参加驻鄂部队抗击新冠肺炎疫情运力支援队等任务，连队官兵发扬黄继光精神，以‘不立功不下战场’的斗志坚决完成各项任务。”余海龙说。
2020年7月，长江流域发生洪涝灾害，湖北麻城告急。
“当时我们旅正在附近训练。我立刻到防汛指挥部请战，执行防汛救灾任务，说了3点理由：第一，我们是黄继光生前所在部队；第二，我们参加过1998年抗洪，经验丰富；第三，我们正在演训，战士士气正高。”余海龙说。
Command approved the request.
After receiving the order, the brigade immediately dispatched more than 300 officers and soldiers to carry out flood control and disaster relief tasks.
The officers and soldiers blocked the breached embankment for more than 30 hours.
"The muzzle of the gun was blocked in the past, and the breach is now blocked." The officers and soldiers immersed in the flood used this slogan to persevere to the end.
"Today, we have more steel and more gas, stronger bones, and stronger fighting spirit if we dare to win. We will certainly inherit the revolutionary spirit of the older generation and be a good successor to the heroes of the new era." After completing the flood rescue, Yu Hailong deeply felt emotionally speaking.
The blossoming umbrella flowers bloom in the blue sky, which is the testimony of the loyal mission of these heroes.
In an exercise, the "Model Airborne Company" parachuted under the "three unconditional" conditions of no navigation, no meteorological data, and unknown ground conditions. Yu Hailong, then the political instructor of the company, stood in front of the cabin door to mobilize: "If you jump one today, I jumped. Two jumps, I jumped with the company commander. Some of the jumps, Party members and cadres jumped." With an order, all the officers and soldiers rushed to the front, no one flinched, no one was afraid.
The collective of heroes needs Huang Jiguang's spirit, and it also inherits Huang Jiguang's spirit in the execution of tasks.
"Back then, President Xi asked me if parachuting is dangerous or not, and whether grassroots training is hard. I wanted to say, 'No matter how dangerous or hard it is, we are not afraid, we must do it, because we are good for President Xi Soldiers are the descendants of Huang Jiguang's spirit.'" Yu Hailong said.
"We must bear in mind President Xi's great trust, inherit and carry forward the fine tradition, continue to strive to strengthen the army, and let the red gene be passed on from generation to generation."
On the 10th anniversary of Huang Jiguang's sacrifice, the officers and soldiers of the company cast a statue of Huang Jiguang with gun shells to express everyone's nostalgia for the old squad leader.
For decades, whenever recruits join the army, veterans retire, perform tasks, join the party and join the regiment, the soldiers have to go to the statue and report to the old squad leader Huang Jiguang.
Huang Jiguang's heroic spirit has been passed down from generation to generation of officers and soldiers of the Airborne Forces.
Among the soldiers led by Yu Hailong, the most impressive was Cheng Qiang, the thirty-eighth squad leader of the "Huang Jiguang Squad".
Before the next company, Cheng Qiang applied to the organization, expressing his eagerness to be a soldier in the "Huang Jiguang Class".
When he came to the company, he memorized the commentary of the honor room by heart, and he competed for the first place in training and achieved excellent results.
Later, Yu Hailong learned that Cheng Qiang became attached to the airborne troops when he was 12 years old.
After the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, 15 airborne soldiers "falled from the sky" to rescue people in the disaster area.
After the task was completed, the people in the disaster area thanked the officers and soldiers. Cheng Qiang held a banner with seven big characters: "When I grow up, I will be an airborne soldier." After the scene was reported by the media, Cheng Qiang was caught by everyone. Called "Earthquake Boy".
为了鼓励程强再接再厉，余海龙安排程强睡在黄继光老班长床位的上铺。别看只是一张床铺，睡在这里的战士，必须是优秀的黄继光精神传承人。程强深知，自己离老班长的差距，远不止一张床铺的距离。于是，他更加努力，理论学习扎扎实实，军事训练从难从严，最终成长为“黄继光班”的班长，还被选为庆祝新中国成立70周年阅兵仪式空军方队一员。
作为政治教导员，余海龙知道，对该旅官兵来说，用黄继光精神鼓舞人，效果最好。
战士汪文博在新兵训练时跳伞受伤，小腿骨折，拄着拐杖下连。担心拖连队的后腿，他情绪一度很低落。
“天空是生长英雄的地方。只要搏击蓝天心向党、敢于空中拼刺刀，每个人都能续写英雄故事。”余海龙和汪文博谈心。随后余海龙为他制订科学的康复训练计划，发动全连干部骨干开展传帮带，使汪文博重拾信心。
恢复性训练时，汪文博总是以黄继光老班长的事迹激励自己，再难再苦也咬牙坚持，每次汗水都把铺在身下的纸浸湿。后来，他不仅康复痊愈，还在比武中获得优异成绩，以过硬素质成长为“黄继光班”班长。
记者离开连队时，驻守营区的战士到了晚点名的时候。借着连队楼前的灯光，官兵们在“黄继光英雄连”石雕前整齐列阵。当听到余海龙喊出“黄继光”的时候，官兵一齐用最洪亮、最饱满的声音回答——
“到！”
震撼的声音穿透安静的营区，在耳边久久回响。这一声“到”，仿佛有一种穿越历史时空的力量，承载了官兵们对黄继光老班长的思念，更让红色基因、英雄精神铭刻在心间。
“我们一定牢记习主席重托，继承发扬优良传统，接续奋斗矢志强军，让红色基因代代相传。”余海龙说。
