“Over the past 24 hours, the situation in eastern Ukraine has been under control,” Zelensky said in a video message posted on his Telegram channel.

He noted that nevertheless there are shelling and violations of the fire regime.

According to RIA Novosti, earlier the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov urged not to panic because of "a possible escalation on the country's border."

According to him, there is no evidence for this.

Also, the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, noted that Ukraine sees no reason to talk about plans for a “full-scale invasion” by Russia, since the movement of troops on the border has been recorded for a long time.
