A 35-year-old man living in Colomiers was brought before a magistrate from the Toulouse public prosecutor's office on Tuesday, at the end of his police custody for "possession and dissemination of child pornography images".
His activity was detected by investigators from the Central Office for Combating Crime Related to Information and Communication Technologies (OCLCTIC), several weeks ago.
During his first police custody, this employee, hitherto unknown to the police, had just admitted to consulting content of this type occasionally.
But a thorough examination of his computer revealed activity on a completely different scale.
Placed again in police custody on Monday, the man admitted that he not only collected images or videos featuring young children but also participated in their dissemination.
He will have to answer the facts soon before the criminal court.
