Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung has pledged to make it mandatory to recognize good pay for military careers, shorten the training period for the reserve forces, and pay 200,000 won in training expenses.

Candidate Lee announced the 52nd promise of 'Small but certain happiness' on his Facebook page this morning (25th) and said, "Special sacrifices require special rewards. Time sacrificed to protect the motherland. "I will create a government that justifies them," he said.

Sharing the news that the education authorities recently notified that they would recalculate the salaries of some teachers and recover some of their salaries because their military service and university years overlapped, he said, "Isn't our society still taking the time spent in the military service lightly? , I felt sad," he said.

Candidate Lee said, "We will make it mandatory for military experience to be recognized when calculating salary and wages."

“The training period for mobilization reserve forces will also be shortened from 4 to 3 years, and the compensation for mobilization training will be doubled from the Democratic Party’s promise during the last general election, so that 200,000 won per day will be paid.” He added that the compensation (currently) was 63,000 won for 3 days and 2 nights, which is far below the minimum hourly wage, even though he was enlisted for training.”

Such a promise seems to be a dimension to target the votes of 2030 men.
