Place de la Nation was this Tuesday the rallying point for all those who blamed something on the former power embodied by the former president, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré.
Several heads of associations climbed onto the podium to harangue the crowd present.
In the middle of the afternoon, the “Sauvons le Burkina” movement, organizer of the rally and support for the
pustchists
, held a press conference.
Its coordinator Anaïs Drabo refuses to speak of a coup.
“
We robbed everything, we were followed.
How do you want us to do it
?
We will fight for our children,
she says.
What
we are not told is when the terrorists come, people are beheaded and dismembered.
That, the population does not know.
Yes, I'm telling you, I'm happy because I don't think what happened was a coup.
I'm talking about a release.
»
The festive atmosphere lasted all day.
At the beginning of the evening, they returned calmly, not a single soldier in the street while the junta announced the reopening of the air borders.
