The possibility of a Russian invasion is increasing, with the US government ordering the families of US embassy employees in Ukraine to withdraw.

A travel ban was also imposed on Russia due to the threat of terrorism.

U.S. government has ordered the evacuation of the families of U.S. embassy employees in Ukraine, where the possibility of a Russian invasion is growing.



He said that non-essential workers may leave Ukraine voluntarily.



He also advised all Americans in Ukraine to leave immediately.



The U.S. State Department explained the background to the move, saying there were reports that Russia was planning significant military action against Ukraine.



A State Department official said the move does not mean the withdrawal of the US embassy and that the embassy in Ukraine will continue to operate, stressing that the US government's support for Ukraine remains unchanged.



The New York Times reported that the US was considering sending up to 5,000 troops to NATO allies in the Baltic and Eastern Europe, citing US officials.



He added that if the situation worsens, the size of the force could increase tenfold.



The U.S. government has also placed Russia on a Level 4 travel advisory, a travel ban.



The U.S. State Department has issued a travel ban on the grounds of harassment and terrorist threats from Russian authorities targeting Americans.
