The European Commission has offered a package of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €1.2 billion

“The European Commission has proposed a new emergency macro-financial support of €1.2 billion. This package will help Ukraine in its financial needs in light of the conflict,” said the head of the EC.

On January 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held telephone conversations with the head of the European Commission and thanked von der Leyen "for the consistent support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity" of Ukraine.
