New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced, at a press conference held on Sunday morning, the cancellation of her wedding ceremony due to the new precautionary measures approved by her government to confront the rise in cases infected with the new Corona virus “Omicron”.

"My wedding is not going to happen on time, but I'm one of the New Zealanders who have faced challenges like this because of the pandemic," Ardrin said.

"For everyone who has been forced by the current circumstances to face a circumstance like this; I'm sorry for you, we are determined and understand that we are doing this for each other, and this will help us move forward."

And the New Zealand Prime Minister announced that her country had entered the red zone due to the high incidence of Omicron, and this means imposing more restrictions on gatherings and social events.

Jacinda's statement was met with a huge positive reaction on social media platforms, and New Zealand-Iranian journalist Dana Miles said, "Everything you need to know about New Zealand culture is in this clip for our Prime Minister, as she explains how she feels about canceling her wedding after the rise of Omicron in New Zealand. Jacinda Ardern summarizes The essence of the New Zealand character which is based on humility, compassion and love for society."

While British activist Samuel West compared Jacinda's statement to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is facing calls to resign due to attending a party during the pandemic, saying, "It is difficult to measure the gap between a real leader like Jacinda Ardern and the false moral vacuum masquerading as our prime minister, but this is clearer. The difference really is."

If Johnson called off ANY event during a pandemic, he would be hailed a hero by the Tories.

But Jacinda Ardern calls of her wedding and UK commentators state: "it was probably her fiancé that canceled it..realising she's lunatic".

Seriously, so done with such sexism.

DONE.
