On Monday afternoon, the Environment and Building Committee met in Älmhult, to make a decision on the question of fate - should the White Cross be granted a demolition permit or not?

The demolition holiday was given the green light, which means that Älmhult's landmark is now one step closer to being leveled.

Already in the autumn of 2020, the City Council decided that the building would be demolished, and now a demolition permit has been granted by n.

- The White Cross is a pile of lots of strange buildings.

There is a democratically made decision on the demolition in the municipal council.

There is nothing in the new investigation that adds anything new, said Dan Blixt (M), one of the members of SVT before the board meeting.

The building maintenance profile and host Isabelle McAllister was on site for a recording in Älmhult when she discovered the odd houses that make up the White Cross.

In social media, she now lobbies because Älmhult municipality is rethinking the demolition.
